My first computer I ever bought for myself was an IBM, that was when you had to use DOS for everything. And whenever anything went wrong, it was a real pain in the neck.
As the years went on, I owned a number of IBM clones, and when WINDOWS came along, it certainly made everything better. Eventually, I bought a couple of gateway computers and a couple of Dells.
The thing that was always frustrating with all of these machines was when something went wrong. And many of my computers got infected with viruses.
The day I bought my 17" Apple macbookPro was like being born again. In addition to being so much fun to use. I have not had a single problem with it. It runs faster than any of the PC's I have ever owned, and contrary to what I had thought, I have been able to get any kind of software I wanted for it.
